Following a successful show season and topping the sale with Wattlebray Marshall at $24000 in 2018 we decided to keep punching forward and promoting our stud but most importantly the breed in 2019, at Jandowae, Wandoan, Dalby, Kingaroy, Miles and Chinchilla shows, competing strongly at all events.
Our emphasis is breeding consistent, predictable and functional Charbrays with strong milk, growth, fertility, structural and temperament traits.
Wattlebray females are expected to conceive in a maximum 12 week mating period with a calf at foot. Any female that is not pregnancy tested in calf or does not wean a calf is culled.
Breeding fertile bulls from fertile females through our “Calf or Carcass policy” and maintaining an efficient productive cow herd is our philosophy for success.
In herd performance recording, scan data, semen testing, J Bas score 7 and vaccination with 3 Germ Blood, 3 Day Sickness, 5 in 1 and Botulism is our commitment to insure your sire delivers outstanding results.
